Washington Framework Transportation Project

The Puget Sound Regional Council (PSRC) led an effort to develop a transportation framework model within King, Pierce, Snohomish, and Kitsap counties. The PSRC received a Federal Geographic Data Committee (FGDC) grant for this project. The final report is available at http://www.wa.gov/gic/Framework/psrc_fgdc_rpt.htm.    They have also participated in the national effort to establish a FGDC Road Data Model - Content Standard and Implementation Guide (see www.fgdc.gov).

Currently, the Washington Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is leading an effort to recruit partners, establish a project charter, and identify partner funding for a statewide Transportation Framework Project. The project charter and other documents will be posted on this website as they are completed. Upcoming meetings can be found by selecting the Management Group button and then the Framework Management Group (FMG) Calendar.
