Ensure GIS awareness across a range of public policy and decision-making arenas.

Priority Action Item:

Create a process to strengthen GIS leadership and coordination in Washington. Consider legislation or a Governor’s executive order that recognizes the role of the Geographic Information Council when developing this process.
